Am I doing enough for my Dog? Does my Dog need more?
Sometimes I wonder if my dog is happy or if there is anything else that I can do for my dog.
When I ask myself this, the first thing I do is consider how much time I am spending with my dog.
Considering if I am spending enough quality time with my dog is important because it is easy to put off or forget to spend quality time together. Quality time is when I am present and in the moment with my dog. When we are doing something together I am fully paying attention to my dog. I usually try to spend an hour a day with my dog.
Dogs need rest, physical exercise, play, and mental stimulation. The amount that they need can differ depending on age, breed, and issues such as illness, stress, or anxiety.
